A one day intensive 1-1 Floristry & Business training course for beginners with unlimited aftercare 💕

Your training will be held in my purpose built studio in Staffordshire, WS15. Taught and mastered by myself where no stone is left unturned, ready for you to feel confident to kick start, glow up, maximise your profits & build your skills and portfolio within the Floristry industry. No stone left unturned! 

I have just under a decades worth of Floristry experience, I have trialled and tested all aspects & styles of floristry and have mastered how to make a sustainably profitable business. I have taken my business from 0 to a 6 figure business. Everything you will learn in training is what I have learnt in these last 10 years. You can learn from my mistakes to fast track your business to success.

Course name: Floristry & Business Course For Beginners 

Investment: £975 (please feel free to ask about payment plans. The full amount must be paid before the date training) 

Time: 7 hours (10am-5pm)
Do NOT feel pressured with this time frame. We will make sure you walk away with everything you need to know. 

Covering: All aspects of Floristry (Everyday orders, funerals, weddings & events) Modern & traditional aspects of floristry 

How the day transpires: 

• 1: We start the day as if it was a typical day in the life of a florist for an insight of how your future days as a florist may look like.
• We unbox our fresh flowers, delivered on the day from wholesale and learn how to order online or at the wholesalers, price stems in order to gain a profit. We look through the best wholesalers in your area to make sure you’re ordering the best quality and service available. Customer collections, deliveries and the best area radius for you to deliver to in order to organise time. As well as talking through nationwide delivery if you’re wishing to do so. We talk through recipes and the best stems to use in your bouquets and  arrangements, so you know exactly what to order so you’re not left with masses of extra stock when you’re beginning. 

We then start CREATING 🌸‼️

• 2: I will first give you a demonstration using the fundamentals of floristry to create a hand tied bouquet. The art of spiralling, binding our stems and aqua packing our designs with my everyday wrapping technique with size to ratio principles of the golden rules of floristry. We then break down the pricing, adding VAT and marking up our stems and sundries to make sure you will be a profitable business. Whilst learning we will go through aspects of marketing, website with google presence, content, social media and the best ways to get your work and business seen to acquire a client base best fit for your business. 
   
• 3:- After the demonstration and you’re comfortable to start making your own designs. we then go on to making a 30 rose bouquet, you can choose the colour before the day. We also have the option of putting added extras into this bouquet including gold dipped feathers or fluffy sun glasses that my customers absolutely LOVE! 

• 4: We then go onto learning and making THE GIANT BOUQUET. Learning from the OG, I will teach you all the secrets of this technique. No stone will be left unturned. We learn advanced wrapping techniques, which have left my previous students in awe. We wrap with the best quality cellophane on the market with this bouquet. Korean style wrapping. We use my 3D wrapping technique that makes our work come to life and stand out from the crowd. As well as this, I teach you how to make my ruffle skirt wrapping technique which I also created and is now used by many established florists around the world. We will add an iridescent rose and a crown into our bouquet. 

• 5: We create a flower arrangement in a large hat box using floral foam. We will be creating my most popular, modern design large hat box. The art of utilising our stems into smaller units to cover a larger space in our arrangements to create the most impact within our designs, whilst maximising our profits. I teach you how to prepare and create our stems so they are ready for the longevity of life within our floral foam. 

• 6: After we have mastered the above, we then go onto a 3ft Flower Spray arrangement. You decide on the day if you wish to design a spray for weddings and events or a funeral. The flower placement and principles are the same, but the look is different for both. For this technique we will cover the traditional and advance principles and the golden rules of floristry which consist of the rule of triangle placement, lines & symmetry. 

• 7: Our final arrangement will be flower basing for funerals or bespoke arrangements . We learn how to create a Funeral Letter, how to pleat our ribbon to create the ribbon edge around our letters, the art of basing the surface of the letters with chrysanthemums in lines to create visually pleasing, neat lettering to really create the best shape we can achieve. We then learn how to create mini flower sprays on the letter and how to place these in the best location on the letter. We use the letter M as this is the most tricky letter to master and once you have mastered the M, you can master any letter easily. 
   
• 8: We will talk through how to take orders for all aspects of floristry, including:
• -How to deal with bereaved families for funerals, taking, making and delivering the funeral order. 
• - The whole wedding process from start to finish from the initial enquiry, pricing, quoting, designing to setting up on the day. This will also be the same for events
• - The best way to take every day orders for bouquets and arrangements for all occasions.
• Terms & conditions, deposits and money & time management 

All your arrangements and bouquets will be critiqued by me whilst making them to make sure you are fully aware of the placement, quality and look of your designs so they are the best they can possibly be so at the end of the day, we can take photos of your work for content ready for social media, your website or portfolio. You can also take your work away with you to take more content, take apart and practise more or sell them, possibly making your first sales! 

But it doesn’t just end there. You will be given my whattsapp number for you to ask any questions you have throughout your Floristry Journey. Absolutely unlimited! I’ll always be here holding your hand. You will never be alone. 

What’s with the wait? There is no better time to start your floristry journey than now. 

Once I have been given the go ahead by yourself I require a £150 holding fee for your date and the balance can be paid any time up to a week before your date. 

You will go away with a certificate of completion which will be valuable for your business and all the tools you need to start making daily orders including Floristry scissors, ribbon scissors, ribbon, raffia, cellophane, floristry bags, a trio of hat box’s, floral foam, rose strippers, floristry cards and card holders.
