A completely private, hands-on training day with Jem at Jem’s Floral Studio
Take your floristry skills and business to the next level with a completely private in-person 1:1 training day with Jem, founder of Jem’s Floral Studio.
📍 Location: Jem’s Floral Studio, Lichfield, Staffordshire
🕙 Start time: 10am
🌸 Finish time: Usually between 4pm and 5pm
This training is perfect for complete beginners who want to learn floristry from the foundations, as well as existing florists who want to upskill, develop their techniques and take their business to the next level.
You don’t need years of experience to attend. I’ll work at your pace and tailor the day around your current ability, your goals and the areas you want to develop.
You’ll work alongside me throughout the day as we create five profitable floral designs, while I teach you the practical techniques, pricing and business knowledge I use within my own floristry business.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or already running your own floristry business, the aim is for you to leave with new skills, practical experience and designs you can confidently recreate and sell to your own customers.
Create 5 Profitable Designs
During your training day, we’ll create five different designs together, giving you a range of commercially viable products that you can photograph, price and introduce into your own floristry business.
🌸 Signature Bouquet
Learn how to create a professional signature bouquet, including spiralling, flower placement, balance, structure and professional finishing.
🌹 25 Stem Rose Bouquet
Create a luxury 25 stem rose bouquet while learning professional spiralling, placement and finishing techniques. I’ll also teach you how to create my signature OTT bow, giving your bouquet that statement Jem’s Floral Studio finish.
💐 Statement GIANT Bouquet
Learn how to create one of my statement GIANT bouquets from start to finish, including structure, flower placement and how to achieve that dramatic oversized look.
I’ll also teach you my viral skirt wrapping technique, showing you exactly how I create the oversized layered skirt wrap that has become one of my signature techniques.
🎀 Large Luxury Hat Box
Create a statement luxury hat box arrangement while learning how to work with floral foam, achieve professional flower placement and turn the finished design into a profitable premium product for your customers.
🤍 Funeral Letter or Heart
Choose between creating a funeral letter or heart while learning basing, edging, flower placement and the professional techniques needed to achieve a beautifully finished funeral tribute.
Floristry AND Business Training
This training isn’t just about learning how to make beautiful flowers.
Throughout the day, I’ll also teach you the business knowledge behind creating designs that are commercially viable and profitable.

Because the entire day is 1:1, you’ll have my full attention throughout your training and plenty of opportunity to ask questions about your own floristry business.
We can also spend time on any particular areas you’re struggling with or would like more guidance on.
Your Training Investment
Full Day 1:1 Floristry & Business Training | £950
Your training includes all of the flowers, tools and materials required to create all five designs, so everything will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive.
You’ll create each design yourself with my guidance and take all of your finished designs, flowers, tools and materials home with you, so you can continue practising and recreating the techniques you’ve learnt.
You’ll also have the opportunity to photograph everything you create, giving you content that you can use across your social media, website and portfolio.
At the end of your training, you’ll receive a Jem’s Floral Studio Certificate of Completion to recognise the skills and techniques you’ve learnt during your training day.
Training for More Than One Person
This training is also available for two or more people.
If you’d like to attend with a friend, colleague, business partner or team member, you can train together while still receiving hands-on guidance throughout the day.
The training can be tailored around your individual experience levels and what you’d each like to learn.

Continued Support After Your Training
Your support doesn’t end when you leave the studio.
Following your training, you’ll receive continued aftercare and support from me, so when you begin recreating the designs, pricing your work or putting everything you’ve learnt into practice, you can come back to me with questions.
